Spreading the love of opera

• As a community-based opera company, we owe it to our local and wider communities not just to share our love of opera, but to encourage and enable others to discover the incomparable experience of actually taking part.

• We arrange workshops for schools and other organisations to give young and not-so-young people their first real taste of opera; depending on the opera itself, taking part in a workshop can lead to performing on stage in an actual production.

• We support and encourage individual performers, and our list of alumni shows the powerful, positive impact that learning and performing with us can have on professional careers.
